• Koko (ここ) - to point something located near the speaker.
  
  Example :

• Soko (そこ) - to point something located near the listener.
  
  Example :

• Asoko (あそこ) - to point something located far from the speaker and listener
  
  Example :
  あそこ は エレベ-タ- です
  (Asoko wa erebeta desu.)

• Doko (どこ) - to ask about place
  
  Example :
  エレベ-タ- は どこ ですか
  (Erebeta wa doko desuka?)
